SIX YEARS OF FRIENDSHIP + THREE YEARS OF MORE
THE STORY OF US
David and I met in September 2015 and quickly became close friends, even though he moved 7,000 miles away that same week, and I at the time, existed with limited phone and internet access. Despite everything, we built a fun and intentional relationship, brick by brick, unwittingly strengthening the foundation that now holds us up.
In 2020, I also moved 7000 miles from home, and in November 2021, we finally had all our proverbial stars align, talk about kismet, and decided to try at a romantic relationship. Now, on November 30, 2024—three years to the day from that decision—we will exchange vows before God, family, and friends. We will become to each other, a promise of hope, faith, forgiveness, grace, and love.

CEREMONY
Being Christians, we will have a religious ceremony first thing in the morning which will be immediately followed by a traditional Yoruba ceremony until midday
Location: Balmoral Convention Center - Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja Lagos
Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm

RECEPTION
Our reception will kick-off once the traditional ceremony is concluded. Later in the day, an after party will follow to keep the party going and the drinks flowing.
